Keep up with the action as Governor John Bel Edwards and the Louisiana Legislature try to reconfigure our state’s finances in the 2017 Regular Legislative Session.
From April 10 through June 8, lawmakers and the governor will be grappling with budget issues in this fiscal session. Other important matters will also be considered, however, as each lawmaker has the right to introduce up to five bills that are not related to the budget.
